Clan MacDonald of Keppoch

The Clan MacDonald of Keppoch (Gaelic: Clann Dòmhnaill na Ceapaich) is a proud Highland branch of the great Clan Donald, whose lands lay in Lochaber at the foot of Ben Nevis. Known as fierce warriors and loyal Jacobites, the Keppoch MacDonalds fought with honor in many Highland uprisings, including their heroic stand at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
