Clan MacIntosh

The Clan MacIntosh (Gaelic: Clann Mhic an Tòisich) is a historic Highland clan whose name means “Son of the Leader”. The MacIntoshes trace their origins to the 12th century and became the principal family of the powerful Clan Chattan Confederation — an alliance of Highland clans that held great influence in the central Highlands. Known for loyalty, leadership, and martial strength, the MacIntosh name remains one of the most respected in Highland history.
