🧦 Traditional kilt wear
Each Sgian Dubh comes beautifully presented — a meaningful gift for anyone proud of their Scottish ancestry.
📜 The Origin of the “Sgian Dubh”
The Sgian Dubh (Gaelic for Black Knife) is deeply rooted in Highland history.
Early versions featured black bog wood handles, darkened with age and use.
Its name may also refer to its once concealed nature — though today, it’s traditionally worn in plain sight tucked into the top of the kilt hose, a sign of friendship and trust.
⚠️ The Sgian Dubh is ceremonial — a symbol of heritage, not a weapon.
