Introducing our distinguished Scottish Clan crest Sgian Dubh, a timeless symbol of tradition and heritage. Available with your Clan crest meticulously crafted in lead-free pewter or fine sterling silver, this exquisite Sgian Dubh embodies elegance and legacy.

Measuring 7-1/2” in length and 1-3/8” in width, this brand-new Sgian Dubh features a stainless steel blade and nickel silver-plated fittings. The top is adorned with an imitation topaz, sapphire blue, or emerald green synthetic stone, adding a touch of regal sophistication.

The Clan crest is encircled by a meticulously detailed belt and buckle design, with your clan motto inscribed in raised relief lettering. Reflecting ancient tradition, where the Clan chief bestowed the crest upon their clansmen as a symbol of loyalty and affiliation, each piece is expertly handcrafted in sterling silver, with the Clan Crest measuring 11/16" (19.5mm) in diameter.

Please note that while this item is made to order, production typically takes just a few days. We proudly offer every Clan emblem, ensuring your heritage is honored. To personalize your order, simply add your Clan name in the comment area during checkout.

Our Sgian Dubh is crafted with precision and care, featuring a handle and sheath made from quality resin material, with plated fittings. While this model offers exceptional quality, it is an economy option compared to "genuine" old Sgian Dubhs with sterling silver fittings, which can fetch over $1,000.00.

The origins of the name "Sgian Dubh" (Gaelic for Black Knife) are shrouded in history and tradition. Some believe it stems from the dark appearance of early handles carved from black bog wood, while others associate it with the discreet nature of a concealed weapon, traditionally displayed in the top of the stocking during Highland attire to signify goodwill and camaraderie.

With over forty years of experience in the Scottish Clan crest business, we take pride in crafting Clan jewelry that spans generations, serving the children and grandchildren of our esteemed clientele.
