Elevate your Scottish heritage with our exquisite Scottish Clan crest Sgian Dubh, a traditional black-handled knife steeped in history and pride.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this brand new Sgian Dubh measures 7-1/2” in length by 1-3/8” in width, featuring a stainless steel blade and nickel silver plated fittings. The top is adorned with an imitation topaz, sapphire blue, or emerald green synthetic stone, adding a touch of elegance to this timeless piece.

Mounted with your Clan crest in lead-free pewter or fine sterling silver, each Sgian Dubh is exquisitely handcrafted, with the Clan crest measuring 11/16" (19.5mm) in diameter. The crest is surrounded by a detailed belt and buckle design, with your Clan motto inscribed in raised relief lettering. In ancient times, the chief of the Clan presented his crest to his clansmen as a symbol of loyalty and affiliation.

Please note that while this item is made to order, production takes only a few days. With every Clan available, simply add your Clan name in the comment area during ordering to complete your special order.

While our Sgian Dubh is crafted with care, it is an economy model, featuring a resin handle and sheath with plated fittings. Genuine old Sgian Dubhs with sterling silver fittings can fetch over $1,000.00.

The name "Sgian Dubh" is thought to derive from the knife's dark appearance or its concealed nature as a weapon. Traditionally worn in the top of the stocking during Highland attire, it symbolizes friendship and goodwill, not aggression.

With over forty years of experience in the Scottish Clan crest business, we take pride in crafting Clan jewelry for generations to come.

Celebrate your Scottish heritage with our Scottish Clan crest Sgian Dubh, a timeless symbol of tradition, pride, and camaraderie.
