The Clan crest is surrounded by a detailed belt and buckle design, with your Clan motto inscribed in raised relief lettering. Each piece is exquisitely handcrafted in sterling silver, with the Clan Crest measuring 11/16" (19.5 mm) in diameter.

Please note that this item is made to order and requires a few days for creation. However, every Clan is available, ensuring that you can proudly display your heritage with this exceptional piece.

The origins of the name Sgian Dubh, Gaelic for "Black Knife," are rooted in its dark appearance, with early handles often carved from black bog wood. Alternatively, it may have originated from the concealed nature of the weapon, traditionally worn in the top of the stocking during Highland attire to signify friendship and goodwill. It's important to emphasize that the Sgian Dubh was never intended as a weapon and should not be considered as such.

With over 43 years of experience in the Scottish Clan crest business, our company continues to uphold tradition and craftsmanship, now offering Clan jewelry to the children and grandchildren of our original customers.
