Clan MacNab

The Clan MacNab (Gaelic: Clann Mhic an Aba, meaning “Children of the Abbot”) is an ancient Highland clan with roots in Perthshire. Their name reflects early ties to the Celtic Church, yet in later centuries the MacNabs became feared warriors, often clashing with neighboring clans in the glens of Glendochart. Their seat was long held at Kinnell House, and they were known for both their resilience and fierce independence.
