Clan MacIver

The Clan MacIver (Gaelic: Clann Mhic Ìomhair) is a Highland clan of Norse-Gaelic origin. The name means “Son of Ivor”, derived from the Old Norse Ívarr. The MacIvers settled in Argyll and the western Highlands, where they became closely associated with the powerful Clan Campbell. Though smaller in size than some Highland clans, the MacIvers were known for loyalty, strength, and their enduring ties to both Norse and Celtic traditions.
