Clan MacDonald of Glencoe

The Clan MacDonald of Glencoe (Gaelic: Clann Dòmhnaill Ghlinne Comhann) is a proud Highland branch of the great Clan Donald. With deep roots in the Western Highlands, they are renowned for their loyalty, resilience, and for enduring the tragedy of the 1692 Glencoe Massacre, which forever marked their place in Scottish history.

The traditional battle cry of the clan is “An Cirean Ceann Cinnidh” (The Crest of the Chief), rallying members in times of conflict.
